Welcome

Welcome to Cheshire Walkers - the walking group covering Cheshire and the surrounding area. We have members throughout Cheshire, Greater Manchester and Merseyside.

We organise a selection of walks of various lengths, from short walks in Cheshire to energetic mountain hikes in a variety of locations including the Peak District, North Wales, the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District. We also organise weekends away and a variety of social events.

If you enjoy the great outdoors and would like to meet new people, and have fun whilst keeping fit then we are the group for you.

Publicity and Recruitment Event

The North & Mid-Cheshire Area is holding a publicity & recruitment event on Sunday 29th August at Linmere Lodge (Delamere Forest Park) and it would be excellent if one or more members of Cheshire Walkers could be there to help on the day. They've chosen a bank holiday to maximise the number of visitors (potential recruits!).

The event is at the Information Centre with an info boards, a display of photographs and of course publicity / membership leaflets. We'll also have a puzzle trail (about 1 mile, for accompanied children) based on walking / ramblers / forestry / wildlife matters. Obviously, this will require a degree of supervision on our part.
